For nearly 60 years, Oconee Regional Medical Center has been a centerpiece of Baldwin County and the Milledgeville community. Serving nearly 90,000 residents in seven surrounding counties, the people of our community truly depend on Oconee Regional for access to affordable, high-quality care.
Like hospitals across the country, we’ve faced our share of challenges over the past few years. But, we’re working hard each and every day to move forward. Last year, we formed a new partnership with Navicent Health (formerly The Medical Center of Central Georgia). Through this partnership, we’ll have the financial strength and operational stability to meet the needs of our community both today and in the decades to come.
We also have a number of significant efforts underway to ensure Oconee Regional thrives in the future, such as the launch of a true strategic planning process to restore the financial health of the hospital, and the engagement of our dedicated physicians, employees and community members to get their input on our efforts. We hope you’ll explore this website to learn more about the work underway and our partnership with Navicent Health, see the latest news and updates, and more along the way.
While we believe the steps we are taking today are putting us on the right path, there is still a lot of work ahead. It will take all of us, working together, to ensure that Oconee Regional continues to remain the vital community asset it is today. Let’s move forward together.
